This site is a marketing website for the Pine Point Bliss vacation rental properties in Pine Point, Maine. We’ve designed it to give you information about our cottages and how to book them — with as little data collection as possible.

This policy explains what little information we do collect, how we handle it, and what choices you have. If anything here is unclear, please email us at info@pinepointbliss.com.

What we collect on this site

Almost nothing. The site does not have contact forms, booking forms, account logins, or newsletter signups. We do not ask you for personal information.

The only information we receive when you visit is:

Basic site analytics, provided automatically by our website host (WordPress.com). This includes page views, the country you’re visiting from, and the website that referred you. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
Your cookie preferences, stored in a small file on your device so we can remember your choice across visits.
YouTube cookies, but only on our Bliss St. Beach House page and only if you choose to play the embedded video. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which avoids personalized advertising tracking.

We do not sell, share, or trade any of this information.

What happens when you click links to book or contact us

Bookings and inquiries are handled off-site. When you click a “Book Now” or contact link, you’ll be taken to one of these third-party sites:

Bayley Vacation Rentals (bayleyvacationrentals.com) — our booking partner
Airbnb, VRBO, and similar platforms — depending on the cottage
Phone calls initiated through “Call” or tel: links

Once you leave our site, the privacy policy of that other service applies. We do not receive copies of forms you submit elsewhere, and we cannot control how those services handle your information. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any service you book through.
